The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior outfielder Tobie Teke the 2025 OAC Player of the Year, recognizing his outstanding season. Teke, along with senior first baseman Weston Melick and junior second baseman Sam Palmieri, earned First Team All-OAC honors. On the mound, graduate student Erik Cover and freshman Jake Valentine were both selected to the Second Team All-OAC for their impressive performances.

The Muskingum baseball team split in an OAC doubleheader on Senior Day against #23 Mount Union on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies tied the school record for wins in a season with 28 wins after an 8-7 win in game one, where senior Weston Melick had a solo homerun and senior Tobie Teke had a two-run homerun. In game two, the Muskies fell 11-5 after the game was shortened to six innings due to weather.

The Muskingum baseball team was once again honored with recognition in the most recent NCAA Division III Baseball Coaches Poll and D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll. The Muskies received eight votes in the NCAA Division III Baseball Coaches Poll and 22 votes in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll.

Baseball sweeps Marietta for the first time since 2010

The Muskingum baseball team swept rival Marietta in the OAC doubleheader for the first time since the 2010 season. In game one, freshman Jake Valentine led the Muskies with a complete game on the mound, where the Muskies pulled out a 2-1 win. In game two, led by a dominant team performance at the plate in the fourth inning that tallied five runs, the Muskies finished the sweep with an 8-5 win.

Baseball splits in OAC opener against Wilmington

The Muskingum baseball team split a hard-fought doubleheader with the Wilmington Quakers dropping a closely contested first game 5-4 and pulling out a dominant bounce-back win in the second game 15-5. The Muskies improve to 15-3 on the season after today's action.

The Muskingum baseball team completed an electric comeback win over North Central that was highlighted by a four-run bottom of the eighth inning where the Muskies took command of the game. The Muskies finished the game with a 11-9 win and improve to 8-0 on the season.

The Muskingum baseball team rattled off a four-run inning late to pull away from Westminster in extra innings by a final score of 5-1. The Muskies are off to the best start to a season since the 2005 campaign.
