Baseball celebrates Senior Day in split against #23 Mount Union 

The Muskingum baseball team split in an OAC doubleheader on Senior Day against #23 Mount Union on Sunday afternoon. The Muskies tied the school record for wins in a season with 28 wins after an 8-7 win in game one, where senior Weston Melick had a solo homerun and senior Tobie Teke had a two-run homerun. In game one, freshman Jake Valentine led the Muskies with a complete game on the mound, where the Muskies pulled out a 2-1 win. In game two, led by a dominant team performance at the plate in the fourth inning that tallied five runs, the Muskies finished the sweep with an 8-5 win.
