Baseball off to best start in program history with dominating wins over William Peace

The Muskingum baseball team dominated William Peace over both games of their doubleheader action on Saturday. The Muskies move to 6-0 on the season with the win's today, which is the best start in program history for the Muskies.

• The Muskies scored nine runs, had nine hits, and drew three walks.
• Senior Tobie Teke, freshman Lex Castaneda, and sophomore Benny Hess led the Muskies with two hits a piece.

• Muskingum tallied 15 runs, 14 hits, six walks, and two stolen bases.
• Mellerson and Owens led the Muskies with three hits in the contest.

• Mellerson logged a triple in the game and also scored four runs.

• Sophomore Shoei Yamashita earned the win on the mound with seven innings of work where he struck out seven batters.
