On Saturday, the Muskies secured a 3-2 (17-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-22, 15-12) victory over the Case Western and conquered the Thiel Tomcats with a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-18).
The Muskingum volleyball team went undefeated at the Mount Union Invite. The Muskies defeated Earlham 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-19) and conquered NAIA foe Mount Vernon Nazarene, 3-2 (22-25, 25-17,18-25, 25-18, 15-11) on Friday. On Saturday, the Muskies beat the Brockport Eagles 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-17) and spiked Wooster 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-23). The tournament ended with junior setter Erin Dickson and junior outside hitter Brooke Fatheree being named to the 2019 Mount Union Invitational All Tournament Team. Fatheree was also named 2019 Mount Union Invitational MVP.
The Muskingum volleyball team under the direction of Head Coach Hallie Cruzen, who was named Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2018, returns 13 letterwinners and six starters from last year's 25-win team.
