STUNT Secures #1 seed Heading into College STUNT National Championships
The Muskingum STUNT team enters the 2026 College STUNT National Championship as the No. 1 seed, earning the top spot following a strong and consistent regular season. The championship will be hosted at Lipscomb University in Nashville and will take place April 23-26 and feature the top Division III programs in the country.
The Muskies have put together an impressive campaign leading into nationals, highlighted by multiple dominant performances and key wins over regional competition. Throughout the season, Muskingum showed it's strength in every phase of competition, including sweeps at events and convincing victories such as wins over Centenary College and strong showings at home invitationals.
As the top seed, the Muskies will open tournament play against the winner of No. 4 Misericordia University and No. 5 Maryville University. With a victory, Muskingum would advance to the semifinal round, continuing its path toward a national title.
The road to a championship will require navigating a competitive bracket that includes programs such as Saint Mary's College, George Fox University, and Centenary College, all of whom bring postseason experience to the national stage.
Muskingum's success this season has been built on execution across all four quarters—partner stunts, pyramids and tosses, jumps and tumbling, and team routine, positioning the Muskies as a complete and dangerous contender.
With momentum on their side and the No. 1 seed in hand, the Muskies now turn their focus to Nashville, where they will look to cap off their season with a national championship run.
