- Muskingum started the game hot, outscoring the Yellow Jackets 3-2 in the opening frame to take the early lead.
- The second quarter was controlled by Baldwin Wallace who tallied a 4-1 advantage in the second frame and carried a 6-4 lead into halftime.
- Baldwin Wallace extended their lead in the third quarter, outscoring Muskingum 6-0 to make their advantage 12-4.
- Muskingum tallied two more goals in the final quarter to bring the score to a final tally of 15-6.

- Muskingum was led by junior Travis Geyer who tallied three goals and two ground balls.
