Archery shines on the National Stage at USA Archery Collegiate 3D Nationals
The Muskingum Archery Team made history at the USA Archery Collegiate 3D National Championships in Foley, Alabama, delivering record-breaking performances and earning the program’s highest-ever team finish at a national tournament.

Leading the way was senior Kylee Brookover, who captured the Female Compound National Championship with a dominant performance that included setting a new school record score of 440 with 20 12's. Brookover's stellar weekend also helped guide Muskingum to several top team finishes.
Teammate junior Carlie Ellsworth earned National Runner-Up honors in Female Barebow, while her brother, graduate Wes Ellsworth, secured a 4th-place finish in Men's Fixed Pins. Sophomore Kelly Hawvermale added a strong 7th-place finish in Female Barebow, rounding out an outstanding individual showing for the Muskies.
The Muskies also made program history in the team rounds. The Men's Fixed Pins Team of Wes Ellsworth, sophomore Roman Gallitz, and freshman Zeke Rinard placed 3rd overall, marking the first national team podium finish in school history. The Women's Compound Team (Brookover, junior Kaitlyn Oswald, and junior Madilyn Clemson) and the Women's Barebow Team (Ellsworth, Hawvermale, junior Jensen LaCroix) each earned 5th-place finishes, while the Women's Olympic Recurve Team (junior Trinity Howard, freshman Emily Rexroad, freshman Dyna Watiker) and the Men's Barebow Team (junior Gage Kennedy, sophomore Carter Takarsh, junior Finnegan Duffy) both claimed 8th place.
In mixed team competition, the Muskies continued to impress:

The Mixed Equipment Team of Brookover, Wes Ellsworth, and Calvin Bartolin captured 4th place, while Bartolin also set a new school record in Olympic Recurve with a score of 378 and four 12's.
Capping off a weekend of milestones, the Muskies achieved a 6th-place overall team finish — the highest in school history at a national tournament.
