Clayton Named OAC Defensive Player of the Week for the Second Time this Year
Muskingum junior Katharine Clayton was named OAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for her play at the Muskie Invitational.
During their games, Clayton was all over the court for the Muskies. In game 1 vs. Mt. St. Joseph, Clayton tallied 18 digs and 12 receptions to lead the Muskies. In game 2 vs Case Western Reserve, Clayton had 28 digs and 20 receptions.
On day two of the Muskie Invitational, in game 3 vs Washington & Jefferson, Clayton paced the Muskies with 23 digs and 13 receptions.
In the final game of the invitational against John Carroll, Clayton added 28 digs, 3 Service Aces, and 21 receptions.
Clayton recorded 97 digs, 66 receptions, 12 assists, and 6 service aces on the weekend at the Muskie Invitational.
