Women’s Track & Field team Finishes 5th at Ohio Wesleyan Invitational

The Muskingum women's track & field team placed 5th out of 9 teams at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, scoring a total of 48 points.
Ohio Wesleyan Invitational
- Muskingum placed 5th out of 9 teams. The Muskies scored 48 points.
- Junior Teasia Jones placed 6th in the long jump with a distance of 4.79 meters. She also placed 3rd in the triple jump with a distance of 9.70 meters.
- Sophomore Marissa Hill placed 3rd in the high jump with a height of 1.52 meters.
- Freshman Haylee Burris placed 5th in the high jump with a height of 1.42 meters.
- Junior Averi Wallace, senior Jacquelynn Grinnell, junior Liberty Bunting, and freshman Mea Kaufman placed 5th in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 52.00 seconds.
- Junior Kilikina Schultz placed 7th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.48 seconds.
- Junior Abigail Derry earned 1st place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.11.
- Freshman Lydia Black placed 5th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:31.48.
- Juniors Kilikina Schultz and Izabella Erlenbach raced in the 400-meter hurdles. Schultz placed 4th while Erlenbach finished 6th.
- Junior Averi Wallace placed 7th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.35 seconds.
Wilmington Invitational
- Junior Emily Keylor place 5th in the javelin throw with a distance of 32.33 meters.
- Sophomore Grace Philips placed 7th in the javelin throw with a distance of 27.50 meters.
