The Muskingum women's tennis team recorded their second straight victory against Miami-Hamilton on Sunday, 7-2. This triumph marked the first time since 2012 that the Muskingum women's tennis team had secured two consecutive victories.
The Muskies secured back-to-back wins in doubles play to slide past the Harriers with a score of 3-0. Muskingum locked in victories in four-of-six singles play en route to the dominating 7-2 triumph.
The double pair of freshman Gracie Andrews and junior Kayla Hall led the Muskies with an 8-6 win in first doubles. Freshman McKinzie Buckmaster took third singles with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Allison Albright. The Muskies won by forfeit in second doubles, third doubles, fourth singles, fifth singles, and sixth singles.
Muskingum next battles Mount Saint Joseph on Wednesday, September 25. Start time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
