Muskingum University is excited to announce the hiring of Jacob Eddy as the new Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. Eddy brings over five years of collegiate and youth coaching experience and a strong track record of player development, program leadership, and recruitment success.

Most recently, Eddy served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, where he also stepped in as Interim Head Coach during the spring 2024 season and guided the team to an undefeated spring campaign. During his time at Faulkner, he oversaw all aspects of training, matchday preparation, and junior varsity operations while playing a key role in recruitment and program growth.

"When Jake stepped on campus, I could tell his passion, experience, and energy are exactly what we need as we take our program to the next level," said Muskingum Women's Soccer Coach Dani Gunderson. "The future is bright, and we can't wait to get started!"

In addition to his collegiate experience, Eddy served as the Recreational Sports Director for the YMCA of Greater Montgomery, where he led youth soccer leagues with more than 300 participants and directed major events including regional tournaments and college showcases. His leadership in this role further exemplified his passion for building community and fostering athletic participation.

Eddy began his coaching career as a student assistant with Faulkner's men's soccer program and has also coached youth competitive teams with Montgomery FC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in sports management from Faulkner University.
