Robert Edwards Jr. earns All-OAC 2nd Team

Muskingum Wrestling Sophomore Robert Edwards Jr. earned All-OAC Second Team for his outstanding season. He is the first Muskingum Wrestler since the 2018-19 season to receive All-OAC Honors.

Edwards Jr. has been dominating the mat for the Muskies in the heavyweight class this season, earning a record of 20-7 so far this season, with more work to do at Regionals this weekend. 

He recorded 5 pins and 2 tech falls this season, and had two dominating tech falls, winning 19-4 and 18-1. 

Edwards Jr. had a strong showing in a lot of tournaments this year, going 3-1 at the Mount Union Invitational, 4-1 at the Baldwin Wallace Invite, and 3-1 at the Blue Jay Classic. 

He will return to the mat this weekend with his Muskie teammates at the NCAA Southeast Regional, which will take place at Ohio Northern.
