Wrestling competes at Greyhound Open

The Muskingum wrestling team competed at the Greyhound Open on Sunday, hosted by the University of Indianapolis. 

Senior Anthony Gencarelli paced the Muskies with an 18-1 tech fall in his opening bout in the 197-pound weight class against Cory Dowden Jr. of Manchester. Gencarelli slipped in his next matches to end the day at 1-2 overall.

All other Muskies posted a 0-2 mark in their respective weight classes in highly competitive matches.

Muskingum next competes in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Heidelberg on Tuesday, February 10. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
