Wrestling falls short at John Carroll

Junior's Jordan Burkholder and Tanner Walker, and freshman Garrett Mitchel led the Muskingum wrestling team against John Carroll on Tuesday evening at the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.

On the Mat

• Junior Jordan Burkholder (125) opened the match with a fall at the 2:30 mark against Dominic Devine. Burkholder registered his 24th win of the season.
• Junior Tanner Walker (165) collected the victory with a 9-3 decision against Vittorio Santillo.
• Freshman Garrett Mitchel (285) gave the Muskies their final points of the night with a fall at the 2:23 mark over Bryce Carmichael.
