Jurkovic leads Women’s Golf to Historic finish at OAC Preview

Junior Allison Jurkovic carded a 36-hole score of 168 (84, 84) to finish fifth as an individual and lead the Muskingum women's golf team to a second-place finish at the OAC Preview.

Notables

• As a team, the Muskies finished with a two-day total score of 703, breaking the previous school record for lowest 36-hole score (716) set by the 2021-22 women's golf team.
• Muskingum's day one score of 353 marked the lowest team round in school history. The previous record was 355 set by Muskingum's 2021-22 squad. Muskingum followed this up the next day by firing a team score of 350 to break the school record once again.
• Junior Allison Jurkovic fired a two-day total score of 168 (84-84). Jurkovic's score of 168 places her second in school history for lowest 36-hole score for an individual. She also sits tied for sixth in school history for lowest single round score with back to back rounds of 84.

• The two-day event was held at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio.
• Muskingum finished second out of the seven competing teams.
• As a team, Muskingum finished with a score of 703 (353, 350).
• Otterbein won the team title with a 629 (307, 322).

On the Course

• Jurkovic led the Muskies with a career-low 36-hole score of 168 (84, 84) to finish in fifth place as an individual, while freshman Katelyn Hines shot a combined score of 177 (90, 87) to finish tied for ninth.
• Junior Morgan Mullaly had a solid outing with a score of 178 (86, 92) to finish in tie for 12^th, while sophomore Samantha Miller fired a career-low score of 180 (93, 87) to finish tied for 14^th.
• Freshman Jocelyn Scalambrino finished with a score of 199 (100, 99) to finish tied for 29^th and round out the Muskie scoring.

• Muskingum will wrap up their fall season on Sunday, October 30, when they compete in the Baldwin Wallace Fall Shootout. The event will be held at Valley of the Eagles Golf Course.
