Women's Bowling finishes 2nd at OBC #2
The Muskingum women’s bowling team opened its conference schedule at OBC #2 on Saturday in Columbus by earning a runner-up finish out of 14 teams with 5,019 total pins.

University of Northwestern Ohio won the event with a total of 5,273.
The Muskies battled hard and competed all day against some of the toughest teams in the country, as UNOH is ranked 5th and Muskingum is ranked 13th.
Senior Lillian Matteson led the way for the Muskies with a total of 604 for three games to finish 4th out of 113 competitors to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
Junior Tayler Clark continued her strong season with a 598 for three games to finish 5th and make her third All-Tournament Team of the year.
Sophomore Bridget Cake earned a top 10 finish by adding 567 in three games of action.
Sophomore Faith Smith tallied 555 pins, and senior Elizabeth Springsteen added to the Muskie total with 539 over three games to each earn a top 20 finish in the individual competition.
McKenzie Wagner of the University of Northwestern Ohio won the event with a total pinfall of 640 over three games.
The Muskies are back in action December 18-19, when they travel to Las Vegas to compete at the Glenn Carlson Invitational at South Point Bowling Plaza.
