Muskies place second at opening OBC event
The Muskingum women’s bowling team opened its conference schedule at OBC #1 on Saturday by finishing as the runner-up out of 14 teams with 4684 total pins.

University of Northwestern Ohio won the event with a total of 4859.
Senior Lillian Matteson led the way for the Muskies by tallying 551 pins over three games, earning an 11th-place finish out of the 128 participants.
Senior Elizabeth Springsteen added 538 pins for a 13th-place finish.
Junior Tayler Clark contributed 522 pins across three games of action to finish 17th.
Sophomore Faith Smith finished up with 473 over her three games.
Sophomore Bridget Cake tallied 323 pins in two games of action, and freshman Crystal Yingst had a 162 in 1 game.
The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, November 1, as they host the Muskie Mash at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton.
