Women's Basketball Celebrates Senior Day With 59–46 Win Over Ohio Northern
On a special Senior Day inside the Anne C. Steele Center, Muskingum women’s basketball honored six seniors — Lizzy Allen, Claudia Harrington, Courtney Hivick, Laurell Brown, Abby Boeing, and Tori Jones — then capped the night with a strong 59–46 victory over Ohio Northern.

The Muskies (12-11, 5-9) set the tone early, fueled by their senior leadership. Harrington opened the scoring with a quick five points, helping Muskingum jump out to a 7–0 lead. Harrington finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, leading all Muskie scorers.
Jones also made her presence felt, knocking down a three in the third quarter and totaling 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Hivick added a balanced line of 7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, including a key fourth‑quarter three that helped put the game out of reach.
Allen contributed 3 points, 4 rebounds, and a block, while Brown and Boeing gave Muskingum valuable defensive minutes, with Boeing recording a fourth‑quarter block to energize the bench.
Muskingum held a 27–19 halftime lead before pushing the advantage to double digits in the fourth quarter behind efficient shooting and defensive toughness. The Muskies shot 58.3% in the final period.
Sophomore contributors helped secure the win as well - Mckinzi Linscott posted 7 points and 5 rebounds, and Julia Jaenke added 6 points off the bench.
Ohio Northern (8-15, 7-7) was led by Taylor Wagner with 10 points and five rebounds.
The Muskies return to the Anne C. Steele Center on Wednesday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m., hosting Wilmington in a Muskie Pride event and a Wild Wings Wednesday promotion.
