Notables
- Muskingum has earned the No. 2 seed in the OAC Tournament, set for May 7–9. The tournament opens Thursday with single-elimination matchups featuring the No. 3 vs. No. 6 seed and No. 4 vs. No. 5 seed. The Muskies will take the field Friday, facing one of the winners from day one.
- Prior to game one, Muskingum welcomed back to campus and recognized members of the 2001 National Championship Softball Team. Jane Sherman – the wife of Muskingum pitching coach John Wells – who suddenly passed away at the 2001 World Series – threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
