The Muskingum Softball team defeated Southern Virginia in their doubleheader to move to 4-0 to start their season.

Game One
- The Muskies finished with 31 at-bats, 9 runs, 11 hits, and 8 RBIs.
- Senior Cara Taylor led the team with two hits, two RBIs, and a run.
- Freshman Payton Hochradel tallied two hits as well, along with 3 runs.
- Senior Elizabeth Wauford registered two hits, and three RBIs.
- Freshman Tisha Thompson also had two hits, and 2 runs.
- Junior Bethany Rodman pitched 4 innings recording two strikeouts, allowing just one hit. She also added a hit and an run.
