Muskingum Picked 3rd in OAC Softball Preseason Poll
The Muskingum softball team was picked third in the OAC Softball Preseason Poll.
The Muskingum softball team was picked third in the OAC Softball Preseason Poll, which was voted on by the league's softball coaches.
The Muskies finished last season 15-20, with a 10-7 record in the conference. The Muskies finished 4th in the OAC with a birth in the OAC Tournament.
Muskingum returns senior Cara Taylor, junior Natalie Smith, junior Bethany Rodman, junior Tareyn Born, sophomore Kasey Timko, and sophomore Emily Travis, all of whom earned All-OAC honors last season. Smith, Taylor, Rodman, and Timko were all named Second-Team All-OAC. Travis was named Honorable mention All-OAC. Taylor was also named to the NFCA Third Team All-Region VII
The Muskies will open their season in Lynchburg, Virginia, when they will face the Lynchburg Hornets for a doubleheader on February 27.
