Softball honored with six All-OAC selections
Six Muskingum softball student-athletes have earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors for their standout performances this season. Sophomore infielder Natalie Smith, freshman infielder Kasey Timko, junior outfielder Cara Taylor, and sophomore pitcher Bethany Rodman were all selected to the Second Team All-OAC. Freshmen Emily Travis (infielder) and Mattie Bailey (outfielder) received Honorable Mention recognition.

Natalie Smith earned Second Team All-OAC honors after a solid sophomore season, recording 21 hits, including eight doubles and a triple. She also notched 12 runs, 10 RBIs, nine walks, and finished with a .313 batting average.

Kasey Timko was named Second Team All-OAC following an outstanding freshman campaign, where she led with a .387 batting average, collected 46 hits (seven doubles, four triples, and a home run), and added 29 RBIs, 21 runs, and eight stolen bases.

Cara Taylor picked up Second Team All-OAC honors, continuing her strong career after earning Honorable Mention in 2023 and First Team recognition in 2024. She hit .415 this season, with 49 hits, including 12 doubles and three triples, while tallying 30 runs, 14 RBIs, and 19 stolen bases—fourth most in the OAC.

Bethany Rodman secured her first career Second Team All-OAC nod for her impact as both a pitcher and a hitter. In the circle, she pitched 103.2 innings over 24 appearances (17 starts), recording eight wins, a 3.78 ERA, and a career-best 44 strikeouts. Offensively, she added 13 hits, including three home runs and a double, while driving in 12 runs and scoring 10 times.

Emily Travis received Honorable Mention All-OAC as a freshman after compiling 27 hits, including nine doubles, to go along with 12 runs and nine RBIs.
