Softball posts 1-1 record against Wooster and 7th-ranked Case Western

The Muskies traveled to Wooster on Sunday afternoon and finished 1-1 on the day. In game one, the Muskies matched up against Wooster and won 12-7. Game two was against the seventh-ranked Case Western Reserve, and the Muskie fell 3-1.

Game one

• The Muskies finished with 33 at-bats, 12 runs, 13 hits, 12 RBIs, and four stolen bases, and were walked three times.
• Senior Rosie Hayes led the Muskies as she went 4-for-4 with two runs, two stolen bases, a double, one RBI, and was walked once.
• Sophomore Cara Taylor showed off her skills with two stolen bases, two runs, an RBI, and a walk. Taylor also went 2-for-4.

• Freshman Bethany Rodman had a sac fly to record an RBI.
• Freshman Natalie Smith and freshman Kenzie Standerfer each tallied a hit. Standerfer recorded a double.
• Senior Madelyn Thomas pitched six innings. She only allowed five hits and posted six strikeouts.
