Men’s Track & Field Competes at the Otterbein Twilight Invitational

The Muskingum men's track & field team placed 15th at the Otterbein Twilight Invitational on Friday.

Notables

• Sophomore William Jackson made history for the Muskingum track & field team by breaking the hammer throw record with a distance of 51.89 meters. This mark surpassed the previous record that was set in 2019. 

The Basics

• Team Finish: 15th place out of 22 teams

Track

• The 4x400-meter relay team secured a 2nd-place finish with a time of 3:19.84. The team included senior Cameron Scott, junior Elijah Kuklica, senior Doudley Jaboin, and senior Colton Whyte.

Field

• Sophomore William Jackson placed 6th in the javelin throw with a mark of 45.04 meters and 7th in the hammer throw with a distance of 51.89 meters.
• Freshman Nathan Thomas finished 9th in the shot put with a throw of 13.84 meters.
