Kuklica and Jackson earn OAC Athletes of the Week
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that junior Elijah Kuklica and sophomore William Jackson have been named OAC Athletes of the Week for their outstanding performances on the track and in the field at the Washington and Lee Invitational.
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that junior Elijah Kuklica and sophomore William Jackson have been named OAC Athletes of the Week for their outstanding performances on the track and in the field at the Washington and Lee Invitational.
Kuklica, who earned the honor of OAC Athlete of the Week, delivered a blazing time of 48.92 in the 400-meter dash to finish first. The time ranks 14th in Division III. He was also a key member of the 4x100 relay team, which claimed first place with a time of 43.25, and the 4x400 relay team, which took third place.
Jackson received OAC Athlete of the Week honors after a strong performance in the hammer throw, finishing second with a mark of 49.56 meters. The mark ranks 20th in Division III. He also earned fourth place in the men's javelin throw with a distance of 45.09 meters and placed fourth in the discus throw with a mark of 39.95 meters.
