Makowski honored with 2024 USTFCCCA All-Region

Senior Tristan Makowski was credited with the All-Region honor for his performance during the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Makowski was awarded All-Region for his achievements in the shot put event over the course of the season.

Makowski's best throws came at the right time this year, launching two great throws at the All-Ohio Championships and the OAC Championships. He launched a 15.66 meter throw at the OAC Championships to earn All-OAC honors and threw a 15.12 meter mark at the All-Ohio Championships to earn All-Ohio honors.

Makowski's best throw of the season came at the Harrison Dillard Twilight meet, where he logged a mark of 16.03 meters. 

Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
