Irwin sets school record in 60-meter hurdles at Muskie Meet #3
Senior Ryan Irwin’s school-record performance headlined the Muskingum men’s track and field team’s strong showing Saturday at Muskie Meet #3 inside the BHWC, as Irwin lowered his own school mark in the 60-meter hurdles with a winning time of 8.34.

Senior Elijah Kuklica led the way on the track by winning the 200 meters with a time of 22.73.
Freshman Marcus McNichols added a top-eight result in the 400 meters with a fourth-place finish in 54.22.
The Muskies also picked up a distance top-eight performance as sophomore Nicholas Hatfield placed sixth in the mile, finishing in 5:20.89. Junior John Tully earned an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:11.09.
In the field events, junior Thomas Christman claimed the high jump title, clearing 1.88 meters. Sophomore Adam Rohrbaugh placed fifth, and junior Cooper Bell finished sixth in the high jump.
Muskingum added two more top-eight performances in the pole vault as sophomore Adam Rohrbaugh finished fifth (3.65m) and junior Broderick Baumbusch placed sixth (3.20m).
Senior Trey Gastrich recorded a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a best leap of 6.23 meters.
In the shot put, senior Noah Mitchell led the Muskies with a second-place finish (11.92m), while sophomore Nathaniel Romano rounded out the field results with an eighth-place performance (12.19m).
Muskingm next competes at the Dension Bob Shannon Invitational on Saturday, February 7.
