Irwin sets school record in 60m hurdles to lead Muskies at season-opening event

Muskingum senior Ryan Irwin set the school record in the 60-meter hurdles to lead the Muskies at the Spartan Holiday Classic at Case Western.

• With a standout performance, senior Ryan Irwin captured first in the 60-meter hurdles and lowered his school record to 8.40, edging out his former best of 8.41 from last season.

On the Track

• Senior Ryan Irwin set the school record and placed 1st for the Muskies in the 60 meter Hurdles with a time of 8.40. The previous mark was 8.41, which Irwin set last year.
• Senior Elijah Kuklica earned a 4th place finish for the Muskies in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.90. 

On The Field

• Junior Thomas Christman placed 2nd in the High Jump with a final jump of 1.90 meters.
• Sophomore Nathan Thomas placed 4th for the Muskies in the Shot put with a final throw of 14.17 meters.
