Two Muskies earn All-OAC honors in Men's Soccer
Two members of the Muskingum Men's Soccer team have been recognized by the Ohio Athletic Conference for their outstanding play on the pitch this season. Junior Midfielder Hunter Keivens earned second team All-OAC honors while Senior Forward Evan Laraba earned third team All-OAC honors.
Two members of the Muskingum Men's Soccer team have been recognized by the Ohio Athletic Conference for their outstanding play on the pitch this season. Junior Midfielder Hunter Keivens earned second team All-OAC honors while Senior Forward Evan Laraba earned third team All-OAC honors. The league's head coaches vote on all awards. Keivens and Laraba led the Muskies in points with 21 apiece.
Keivens was a spark plug for the Muskie offense this year, tallying two game winning goals against St. Vincent and Penn St. Greater allegheny. Keivens played in every game for the Muskies and totaled 6 goals and 9 assists which was good for 21 points. Keivens tallied 47 shots, with 22 of them being on goal which was good for a 46.8% shot on goal percentage.
Laraba was a force for the Muskie offense all year, he led the team in goals with 8, and added 5 assists. This was good for 21 points as well. Laraba took 30 shots, with 15 of them being on goal, which is good for a 50% shot on goal percentage. Laraba played in every game this year and added a game winning goal to his season, when the team traveled up to Oberlin. Laraba also had two, two goal games during this season, with those coming against Marietta and Capital.
