Men's Lacrosse uses big Second Half to defeat Wabash in Season Opener

The Muskingum Men's Lacrosse team defeated Wabash in their season opening game, 11-7. The Muskies had a well balanced attack and used a big second half to propel them to victory, scoring 7 goals in the second half of the game.

• This win marked head coach Christian Hall's first victory as a Muskie.
• The Muskies won their season opening game, and start the year 1-0.

Inside the Numbers

• Senior Chipper Iacobucci led the way for the Muskies midfield line with 2 goals, and 2 assists on 7 shots. Iacobucci also picked up 5 ground balls caused 2 turnovers.
• Junior Evan Cosgrove also contributed 2 goals and 2 assists. Cosgrove also registered 4 ground balls and caused 2 turnovers at the attack position.
• Sophomore William Swift had 2 goals on 6 shots. Swift also had 4 ground balls.
• Freshman Trey Wisniewski registered 2 goals on 3 shots in his first collegiate game. Wisniewski also had an assist for the Muskies.
• Senior Tyler Workman tallied 1 goal and 1 assist. 
• Sophomore Adin Mondul also had a goal for the Muskies. 
• Freshman Brayden Wolfe registed a goal in his first career game. 
• Sophomore Ethan Kmieske tallied 2 assists for the offense and 3 ground balls.
• Sophomore Goalkeeper Jaeden Klimkowski had 14 saves in goal for Muskingum. Klimkowski also tallied 11 ground balls.
• Sophomore FOGO Owen Winkler had 8 face off wins for the Muskies. 
• Jake Pippen had 4 goals for Wabash.
