The Muskingum men's bowling team has two nationally ranked performances from senior Evan Thro and freshman Caelan Guthrie this season.
Senior Evan Thro has been on a tear through the first six tournaments this season. He has set the bar for the men's bowling team with a 220.5 game average in his tournaments this season. That ranks him fifth out of 511 bowlers who have at least 18 games so far this season.
Freshman Caelan Guthrie has been dominant in his first season with the Muskies. He currently ranks 37th amongst all rookies who have at least 18 games played through the season. Guthrie has logged an impressive 197.9 average through the first six tournaments this season.
Thro's best performance came at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 where he tacked an impressive first place finish individually out of the 17 teams present at the event. Guthrie's best performance also came at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 where he placed inside the Top 10 of all bowlers present. These two bowlers have helped pace the Muskies to a ranking in both the United States Bowling Congress and National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association National Poll.
