Nathan Wahle is entering his fourth year as head coach of the Muskingum men's basketball program.

In the 2024-25 campaign Wahle guided the Muskies to new heights that included an Ohio Athletic Conference tournament berth where the Muskies hosted the Otterbein Cardinals. The tournament game was the first home OAC tournament game since the 2005-06 season. Wahle's leadership helped guide the Muskies to a 14-win season that saw the team come away with 11 conference wins. Wahle's impressive coaching style saw multiple Muskies flourish as junior Duane Davis earned First Team All-OAC honors and sophomore Owen Emig tacked on Honorable Mention All-OAC. Two Muskies also stood out in the classroom under Wahle's direction with Academic All-OAC honors and one also being awarded CSC Academic All-District. The season marked an impressive step for the Muskingum men's basketball program and it was highlighted by Wahle earning the Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year award.

During his first two years with the Muskies, Wahle developed Muskingum into a competitive squad on the court and in the classroom.

Prior to Muskingum, Wahle served one year as the assistant coach for the DePauw University (Greencastle, Indiana) Men's Basketball program. Wahle helped lead the Tigers to the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament Final Four during the 2021-22 campaign. In addition to the postseason success, DePauw finished as an NCAA Division III statistical champion in free throw percentage, second in the conference in points per game allowed, and had a player named to CoSIDA's Academic All-America team. Throughout this past season, Wahle was instrumental in recruiting efforts, opponent scouting, and individual player development for the Tigers.

Before DePauw, Wahle served four years as the assistant coach of the Wittenberg University Men's Basketball program before being elevated to associate head coach in his fifth year. During his tenure, the Tigers won two NCAC regular-season championships, two NCAC Tournament championships and made three NCAA Tournament appearances which included reaching the Sweet 16 before COVID-19 halted the tournament in 2020. The team ranked first in NCAC team scoring defense four out of five seasons, with four players earning the distinction of NCAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Additionally, the Tigers held the number one spot in the Great Lakes Region for two consecutive years and ranked 10th nationally in the D3hoops.com Top 25.

Before his stint at Wittenberg, Wahle spent two seasons in Nebraska as the assistant men's basketball coach at Doane University. While at Doane, he served as the recruiting coordinator, the guard development coach, and the team's defensive coach.

Prior to Doane, Wahle was the varsity assistant boys' basketball coach at Maumee High School. He held this position at Maumee while attending Bowling Green State University and serving as team manager for the BGSU Men's Basketball program.

Wahle graduated from BGSU in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He is married to his wife, Kay, and they have two sons, Mic and Leo.
