The Muskingum Men's Basketball team dropped a road contest to #17 Otterbein to conclude their regular season, 80-60. 

The Basics

  • Records: Muskingum (Overall: 15-10, OAC: 7-9), #17 Otterbein (Overall: 21-4, OAC: 13-3)
  • Location: Rike Center - Westerville, Ohio

Notables

  • The Muskies will be the four seed in the OAC Tournament and will host the five seed Heidelberg on Tuesday, February 24, at 7:00 PM. The game is a WHITEOUT.

Inside the Numbers 

  • Senior Duane Davis and junior Owen Emig each tallied 14 points to lead the way for Muskingum. Davis also registered 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Emig tallied 1 rebound and 1 assist.
  • Junior Brett Devault added 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds on 4 for 4 shooting. 
  • Senior Logan Stotzer contributed 9 points off the bench for the Muskies. Stotzer added 2 rebounds and 1 steal. 
  • As a team, Muskingum shot 23 of 56 from the field, 7 of 24 from three, and 7 of 12 from the free throw line. Muskingum pulled down 31 rebounds, dished out 8 assists, and had 7 steals.
  • Jarius Jones led Otterbein with 17 points.
  • Julian Heckman added 12 points for the Cardinals.
