Emig earns OAC Player of the week Honors

Muskingum Men's Basketball Junior Guard Owen Emig has earned OAC Player of the Week for his outstanding play against Heidelberg. Emig scored a career high 31 points and became the 35th player in Muskingum basketball history to pass the 1000 point mark.

Emig had an offensive explosion on Saturday afternoon inside of the Steele Center to lead the Muskies past Heidelberg, 96-86 in OAC play. Emig shot a total 11 for 20 from the field and an efficient 9 of 14 from the three point arc. Emig totaled 31 points which is his new career high. Emig also pulled down 3 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. 

The Muskies will be back in action next Wednesday, February 4th, for an OAC matchup against Capital inside the Steele Center at 7:00PM. Wednesday is also a Wild Wing Wednesday promotion.
