Men's Basketball Uses Big Second Half to give them win over Allegheny

The Muskingum Men's Basketball team used a big second half to propel them to a win on the road against Allegheny, 93-82. Junior Owen Emig led the Muskies with 19 points.

• With this win the Muskies move to 9-1, off to one of their best starts since 1968-69.

• Junior Owen Emig led the Muskies with 19 points on 6-12 shooting. Emig added 3 assists and 2 rebounds.
• Freshman J'Allen Barrino added 16 points on 7-11 shooting. Barrino also tallied 4 steals, 3 assists, and 1 rebound.
• Senior Duane Davis registered 13 points on 5-10 shooting. Davis also contributed 3 assists, 2 steals, 2 rebounds, and 1 block.
• Sophomore Terrell Darden stepped up with a big 12 points on 4-5 shooting from 3 point range in the second half to help propel the Muskies ahead. Darden also had 6 rebounds, and 1 steal.
• Sophomore Alieu Ceesay tallied 12 points off the bench on 6-8 shooting. Ceesay also has 2 steals, and 1 assist. 
• Junior Brett Devault added 10 points on 4-7 shooting. Devault also tallied 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.
• Sophomore Phil Towns chipped in 8 points, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds off the bench.
• Muskingum shot 36-70 from the field, 11-25 from three point range, and 10-13 from the free throw line. As a team Muskingum logged 30 rebounds, 14 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. 
• Pijus Latauskas led Allegheny with 26 points.
• James Sitter added 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Gators.
