Masinelli named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named senior guard Alex Masinelli Men's Basketball Player of the Week, for his outstanding performances at the E.M. "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Tournament last week.

Masinelli registered a career-high 43 points, six rebounds, and six assists versus Lynchburg last Wednesday, then followed up his outstanding performance with a 13-point, seven-rebound, and six-assist effort in Muskingum's 68-66 win over Wooster on Friday. Masinelli's 43 points place him second all-time for points in a single game in the 58-year history of the E.M. "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Tournament. For his efforts, Masinelli was named the tournament MVP.

So far this season, Masinelli has been a dominant force on the court, averaging career-highs in points per game with 19.8, rebounds per game with 6.9, and assists per game with 4.3.
