Marcus Dempsey breaks school record with 57 points vs. Oberlin

Sophomore Marcus Dempsey 57 points versus Oberlin broke the 104-year-old school record for points scored in a game on Saturday evening. Muskingum men’s basketball team fought its way back in the second half, but fell, 111-104, in the Oberlin College Tournament championship game.

Men’s Basketball grinds out victory over Medaille

The Muskingum men’s basketball team, playing with heavy hearts, beat Medaille at the Oberlin College Tournament on Friday evening, 88-77, and will advance to the championship game. Marcus Dempsey played spectacular as he poured out a career-high 48 points and was close to hitting the school record of 54 points, which was set in 1912-13 by Babe Arnold.
