Muskies fall short in conference match-up

The Muskingum men's basketball team fell short to Capital University, 87-62, during tonight's conference match-up.

• Freshman Jarrell Marsh and Junior Rickey Wilson led the Muskies with 10 points each. 
• Sophomore Malik Billingsley added nine points.
• Junior Joshua Keyes grabbed six boards and accounted for two blocks. 
• Muskingum ended the game shooting .356 (21-of-59) from the field.
• Capital was led by Mark Minch with 24 points and five rebounds. 
• Michael Green also added 16 points for the Crusaders. 
• Capital ended the game shooting .571 (36-of-63) from the floor. 
• Capital also held a 44-26 advantage over Muskingum in rebounds.

• Capital grabbed an 8-6 lead againgst Muskingum at the 15:35 mark in the first period that solidified their lead for the remainder of the game. 
• At half, Capital led the Muskies 37-19. 
• Capital extended their lead by as much as 32 points during the second half at the 12:52 mark. 
• The score was tied once and there were two lead changes.
