Keegan Linwood enters his first year as running backs/h-backs coach and recruiting coordinator for the Muskingum football program.

Linwood arrives in New Concord after a recent stint with Kent State, as a Defensive graduate assistant. During his two years at Kent State, he broke down all opponent film, carded and ran offensive and special teams scout, created playbook drawings, assisted with Linebacker and Defensive Back drills in practice, and assisted with recruiting.

Prior to Kent State, Linwood was a Graduate Assistant & receivers coach at Bluffton, where he was involved in the creation of gameplan and play call sheet. Linwood helped improve Bluffton’s passing game (+17.4 YPG) and scoring offense (+3.8 PPG). Before Bluffton he was a Defensive Intern for the University of Minnesota, where he assisted with practice drills and coached on the 3^rd ranked defense in the nation (2021). Also, during his time at Minnesota, his team was the Guaranteed Rate Bowl Champion in 2021 and won the Paul Bunyan’s Axe Trophy.

Linwood was a Receivers Coach for the Calgary Colts, in 2021, where he assisted with the evaluation and development of the receiver position for the Junior football level.

Linwood graduated from Mount Royal University in 2019 where he received a Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education and was a Sports and Recreation Management Major. During his college years he was a receivers Coach for Henry Wise Wood High School, where he was the passing game coordinator, and advance scout, and had 3 City Championship appearances and 2 City Championships. Linwood received his Masters in Business Administration from Bluffton University in May of 2024.
