Bio
Andrew LaPlante enters his First year as an assistant coach for the Muskingum esports program.
Andrew is a graduate of Muskingum University, where he competed as an esports athlete for 2.5 years while earning a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, and Marketing. He graduated early in December 2025 balancing academics, working in the family business, and competing in Rocket League and Apex Legends at the college level.
Beyond esports, he brings strong leadership and teamwork experience from athletics and coaching. He volunteered as an assistant coach for multiple youth soccer teams from September 2018 through November 2025 and served as captain of the Cambridge High School varsity soccer team during his senior year. LaPlante is continuing his education and esports career as a Muskie by becoming the new esports graduate assistant and starting his Masters of Business Administration.
