How it Happened
Muskingum's offense exploded for 23 runs on 22 hits in a dominant road win over Capital at Huntington Park. The Muskies jumped out early with six runs in the second inning and never looked back, adding runs in six different innings throughout the game. Senior Sam Palmieri powered the offense with two home runs and seven RBIs, while junior Aiden Reis added five RBIs of his own in the rout. Junior Grant Mellerson also crossed the plate five times as Muskingum cruised to the 23–4 victory.
