Palmieri homers, Muskies rally late in 5-3 loss
Muskingum kept battling all afternoon but came up just short in a 5-3 loss at Wooster.

After falling behind early, senior Sam Palmieri got the Muskies on the board with a solo home run in the fourth. The blast was his team-best sixth of the season. Muskingum kept chipping away late, using sacrifice flies from sophomore Jasper Owens and freshman Josh Beavon to close the gap, but couldn't find the tying run.
Junior Jayden Helmick gave the Muskies a chance down the stretch with 3.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
