The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced that Muskingum baseball senior pitcher Evan Hinds was named Second Team All-OAC and that freshman outfielder Brett Carson was named Honorable Mention All-OAC.
Hinds led the Muskies with a 4-1 record and 3.29 ERA. He started eight games and tossed two complete games in 52 innings of work. Hinds ended the campaign with 25 strikeouts and only allowed 10 extra base hits throughout the season. This marks the seconds straight year that Hinds has received All-OAC honors (Honorable Mention All-OAC in 2018).
Carson led the team in numerous hitting statistics including batting average (.319), hits (46), doubles (9), RBIs (27), walks (25) and total bases (55). He started in all 37 games and even saw action in four games as a pitcher.
