Both Men's and Women's Bowling Picked in USBC Top 25
The Muskingum Men's and Women's Bowling teams remain in the top 25 across multiple polls.
The Muskingum Men's and Women's Bowling teams remain in the top 25 across the NCBCA (National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association) Coaches Poll, IBMA (International Bowling Media Association), and now USBC (United States Bowling Congress).
The men are ranked 14th in the updated USBC rankings, and the women are ranked 17th. Both teams have received recognition across all three major national polls.
The men's team had a very successful month of November as they placed 1st out of 20 teams at the Ohio Bowling Conference 2 @ Columbus Square Bowling Palace. They also placed 5th out of 15 at the Roto Grip Raider Classic @ Beaver-VU, and 2nd out of 7 when they hosted the Muskie Mash @ Legacy Lanes.
The women's team saw great success as well in November and continued this stretch in December, finishing 16th out of 42 at the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational @ Southpoint. The next day, they finished 19th out of 41 at the Collegiate Shoot-Out at Southpoint, Las Vegas.
Both Muskie Bowling Squads will be back in action on January 17th and 18th as they compete in the Kegel Midwest @ Stardust. Start time is set for 7:00 a.m. on both days.
