Scott and Watterman to serve as Assistant Directors of Athletics Communication

The Muskingum Athletics Communication Office has announced the hiring of Joey Scott and the return of Paige Watterman as Assistant Directors of Athletics Communication.

Scott, a 2018 graduate of Muskingum University, was a four-year wide receiver for the Muskingum football team and sports director for Muskingum's Orbit Media. During his work with Orbit Media, Scott produced content for Orbit TV and served as a play-by-play sports commentator and radio host and DJ for WMCO 90.7FM. Most recently, Scott worked for 610 WTVN in Columbus as a producer and board operator. The iHeartMedia station can be heard as far away as Indianapolis, Detroit, and Cleveland. Scott will be pursuing his M.A.E. at Muskingum.

Watterman, a 2018 graduate of Muskingum University, returns for her second year. Throughout last year, Watterman helped lead the communication and game operation efforts for Muskingum's 22 varsity sports. During her undergraduate tenure, Watterman was a four-year captain for the Muskingum women's lacrosse team and served as president of Muskingum's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). On the field, Watterman ended her career ranked first in assists (20), and third in goals (72), points (92), ground balls (100), and caused turnovers (44). She also helped lead the Muskies to their best record in program history in 2017. Watterman will complete her M.A.E. next spring.
