Christopher Collins is entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Muskingum football team. He will be responsible for running backs and tight ends.
He arrives in New Concord after finishing his last season at Illinois Wesleyan University where he was a four-year letterwinner for the football program. While at Illinois Wesleyan, he served on the student athletic advisory committee and on the football council. His role on the advisory committee enhanced his skills in initiating support for philanthropic and charity events among athletic teams, conducting voting, and allocating time and funds based on team performance. Collins added his expertise to the football council as he aided in the process of receiving and giving presentations to the group of potential incoming freshman for the upcoming season and served as the liaison between the football team and the coaching staff.
Collins graduated from Illinois Wesleyan in 2018 with a B.S. in economics with a focus in financial economics.
