The Muskingum women's cross country team earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, while senior Julie Fobes was named an Academic All-American for the 2016 season.

To qualify the team must compete and compile a score at the NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum team GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.

The women's cross country program earned its fifth honor and second under the guidance of Head Coach Jacob Gleason.

Fobes captures her first Academic All-American honor.

In order to be named Academic All-American, the student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and finish in the top-25 percent at the regional meet.

Fobes led an impressive senior campaign finishing 51st in the 232-runner field at the NCAA women's cross country Regional meet with a time of 23:10.01.

The senior also earned All-Ohio and All-Conference honors in 2016.
